I’m so happy and beyond words this worship morning as we come together to commemorate the 6th anniversary of our church, ALFC, at AMK Hub.

Looking back the past year, our hearts can only express over and over again just how good and faithful our God is! For we have experienced His favour and the rewards of His many blessings!

Through thick and thin, God has continued to keep us all together, united and focused in His love to provide, strengthen, empower and grow the work of His church!

And I can’t say enough times too just how grateful I am to God for all of you. I thank God constantly for how He has created each one of you so uniquely in His own image with different gifts and talents for His service!

Today, we celebrate the expression of everyone’s contribution in the various ministries that has led to the four-fold growth of ALFC—our lead team of pastoral and pulpit speakers, elders and deacons, ministry leads and members of our PowerHouse; Missions; Amplify; Connect; Media and Communications; Ambassadors; Cubs-for-Christ; Tracting, Worship and Music teams and groups.

Young and old, I am proud that all of your service is based on Colossians 3:23-24—where we do heartily unto God, and not unto men; knowing that from the Lord, we will receive the inheritance as our reward.

As we look forward together as a church, let us remember we are God’s chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for His own possession, that we may proclaim the excellencies of Him who called us out of darkness into His marvellous light. 1 Peter 2:9

Challenges and difficulties will continue to confront us as we continue to serve in our various ministries. We must continue to stay together and stay confident that only Jesus will give us all the things needed to endure, and finish the race.
Beloved, let us look to Jesus–our strength, our shield, our perfect example—to give us the faith as He leads us into the future.

Hallelujah! Let us exalt His Name for we are more than conquerors because of Jesus!

“For the Lord is good; His steadfast love endures forever, and His faithfulness to all generations” Ps 100:5

“The Lord is the strength of His people, a fortress of salvation for His anointed one” Ps 28:8

“The Sovereign Lord is my strength; He makes my feet like the feet of a deer, He enables me to go on the heights” Habakkuk 3:19
