Speaker: Senior Pastor Alan Ang

The church in Corinth was a defiled church. Some of its members were guilty of sexual immorality, others got drunk, still others were using the grace of God to excuse worldly living.

Paul’s closing words to the Corinthian church are still fitting for the church today. Paul encouraged the believers to cultivate grace, love and peace.

2 Cor. 13:11 & 13 “Finally, brothers and sisteres, good-bye! Aim for perfection (restoration) listen to my appeals, be of one mind, live in peace.” And the God of love and peace be with you”. “The grace of the LORD JESUS CHRIST, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all”.

GRACE means ultimate in beauty – undeserved favour of God to the undeserving sinner. “You know the grace of our LORD JESUS CHRIST; rich as HE was, He made Himself poor for your sake, in order to make you rich by means of His poverty” (2 Cor. 8:9).

The LOVE of God. “Whoever does not love does not know God, for God is love. And God showed His love for us by sending His only Son unto the world so that we might have life through Him” (1 John 4:8-9)

And the FELLOWSHIP of the HOLY SPIRIT be with you all. The Holy Spirit is God. Like God the Father, God the Son, and the Holy Spirit is a member of the Godhead. After you believe, you are sealed with the Holy Spirit. Without fellowship with the Holy Spirit, there can be no spiritual life, no power and no victory. And the church becomes cold, indifferent. Worship becomes mechanical and dull.
