Removing the stones of your Christian walk

Nov 08, 15 Removing the stones of your Christian walk

God’s promises: Lazarus resurrection So, when He heard that he was sick, He stayed two more days in the place where He was. (John 11:6 NKJV)
These things He said, and after that He said to them, “Our friend Lazarus sleeps, but I go that I may wake him up.” (John 11:11 NKJV)

But why did He delay His visit of Lazarus if He loved him?

This was done so that He could address the doubt, disbelief and grievances that may arise in Mary and Martha, Lazarus’ sisters.

Mary blames Jesus for allowing Lazarus to die

Then, when Mary came where Jesus was, and saw Him, she fell down at His feet, saying to Him, “Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died.” (John 11:32 NKJV)
Martha’s disbelief

Jesus said, “Take away the stone.” Martha, the sister of him who was dead, said to Him, “Lord, by this time there is a stench, for he has been dead four days.” (John 11:39 NKJV)

Is there an obstacle in your life which you are putting before your spiritual life?

Jesus said to her, “Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?” (John 11:40 NKJV)

Jesus wants to work the miracles and blessings in your life. Would you let Him?

Pray to have your stone barriers removed – unforgiveness, sins, doubt and allow Jesus to do work for your Christian life.
